CSA February Meeting Agenda

February 22, 2017

My wife Karen and I are looking forward to having you join us for my first Coquina Sands Association Board meeting as president Monday, February 27th, 2017 in our home at 1779 Crayton Rd.  I had originally scheduled the meeting for 5:00 pm, however, I need to move it to 5:15 pm in order to allow me to attend the President’s Council meeting from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.  Hopefully all of you saw the first email I sent out through Arlene to the CSA members focusing on the potential narrowing of 41 and the addition of a roundabout at the "Four Corners”.  I plan to sent out another note covering a number of topics, however, I thought it would be wise to get your council on appropriate topics before doing so.  Some of the potential mailing items are shown on attachments.  The agenda is shown below:

Treasurer’s Report

 

Bylaws Review - A discussion of any bylaws changes which we believe would be appropriate.  (A copy is attached for your reference.)  It is good governance to periodically review our operating procedures.  It is my understanding that we have not done it for a number of years.  Following a general discussion, I would like to ask a Board member to volunteer to take of the task of updating our procedures.

 

Updated Coquina Sands Mailing List - Jim Mayer provided us with a mailing list of single family and condo residences.  The total was 724; 234 single family and 490 condos.  A letter was sent to all inviting them to become members.  We did not significantly increase membership.  Should we appoint captains for each street/condo building to send a note to neighbors inviting them to join?
